The inspiration for our dishes comes from both nature and local cuisine.
We combine the best of both worlds to give our guests unique taste experiences.
At Fakkelgaarden we only use fresh seasonal ingredients, preferably from the local area. Freshness and quality are important ingredients for the kitchen, and we enjoy treating our guests to tasty dishes.

Our various rooms each offer their own charm and versatile uses, and we can always offer you the best surroundings for your specific purpose.
The rooms have different sizes, suitable for everything from small parties to large gatherings with up to 90 dining guests. At Fakkelgaarden, we can therefore accommodate many types of parties that want a private setting – from small gatherings to large festive occasions.

The courtyard
The courtyard is our largest party room and the natural center of Fakkelgaarden, with space for up to 60 people. For very large parties, the neighboring room, the Festsalen, is included, which offers the possibility of expanding with space for an additional 30 guests.
The courtyard is decorated in bright, friendly colors, and with windows and a pitched ceiling, the light in the atmospheric room is exceptional. As the icing on the cake, there is a view of life in the kitchen, and with its own bar, the setting is perfect for festive occasions.
Closed room with private charm
The banquet hall
The banquet hall is the perfect party or conference room for parties with up to 30 guests and is therefore our most used party room. Here you can hold an undisturbed party or meeting just a stone’s throw from the kitchen. The room’s large glass panels and bay window provide a nice amount of light and its own exit.
The banquet hall can be furnished with flexible table and chair arrangements, and the large 82-inch wall-mounted TV and sound system create the perfect setting regardless of the purpose.
Private Dining in a stylish setting
The fjord
The Fjord Salon is perfect for smaller parties or groups of up to 14 people who want to dine in a private and discreet setting.
The Fjord Salon is therefore often used for smaller parties, as a meeting room for board meetings, for example, or when several couples of friends want to sit by themselves.
Heavenly view for the wine enthusiast
The wine cellar
Even though you start by going down 15 steps to get to the wine cellar, you can hardly get any closer to heaven if you are into good wine. Here in the beautifully decorated wine cellar, great classics from Bordeaux or Burgundy are stored under perfect conditions, among other things.
All guests are welcome to look down into the wine cellar with a waiter, who will also be happy to help find the right wine for dinner.
Gourmet on all levels
Tower restaurant
In the upper and lower tower restaurants – colloquially called the Tower – Fakkelgaarden’s attentive waiters serve gourmet delights in the atmospheric building with a view of Flensborg Fjord.
Cozy gathering place before and after dinner
Bar & lounge
Our bar is the natural stop just before entering the restaurant or after a good dinner.
Here you can enjoy afternoon coffee and cake, snacks and aperitifs as well as a cool drink or refreshing specialty beer.
